This thing works better than expected. Camped over 4 days with another family of 3 being 6 in all. We took over 12 showers in all and the water heater worked flawlessly every time. Within seconds we always got hot water. I ran it off the the holding tank water in my pop up using its 1 gpm pump. I would actually prefer the water flow be lower but the temp of the water gets hotter with the lower the flow. I ran it with the temp dial and water flow on the lowest setting and my only complaint is the water is a little too hot. I would like a lower flow setting just for the reason that I need to conserve the water in my pop up.
