easy install but need its own 30 amp circuit. increases hot water up to 40 degrees more than what your water pipe temperature is, so summer time this unit puts out scolding water.
my last unit lasted five years of medium daily use…not bad…

This unit is not compatable with existing 110 wiring. You need a 10 gauge wire on a 30 amp breaker. Same type of wire you would use for a 220 connection. It should never be connected to a 110 outlet.
You also need a valve on the output to adjust the flow so it never goes over the max flow rate. If it does go over the max flow rate it will get cold. So do not install without this valve!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You adjust the valve as follows. Turn down the valve until the water flow is hot. You will find if you open it past a set point it starts getting cold.
Most all heaters recoment the valve on the input and output, Dont let your installer install it without it or you wont ba able to adjust the flow.
